"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"
"HE WILL REVIVE US!" HOSEA 6:2
The Open Door – Time To Cross Over
Daily Living – Day 1
Joshua 3:4 (KJV)
Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
As we were moving into this new season a set time 5778/2018 the year of the open door. God reminded us that going in there must be a change of mind. You cannot and must not do it the same way we have done in previous years. Going through this year we must remember Declare, Decree, Rule and Reign. We must know though the door is open you must understand that the enemy has positioned your adversaries at the door. You must enter this open door having the confidence that you are already on the other side.
Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
As I began to read the Word of the Lord in Joshua, He began to speak to me about all my preconceived ideals on how I think God is going to do it and He said this will not work in this season. Those things that come out of imagination must fall. You must discern in this season what is truth and walk in it. He began to tell me what He is doing is new and has not been manifested in the earth realm, yet it is present but absent from the naked eye.
Therefore, it is okay to not to know the next step. However, know and have faith that God is the next step and hold it. All I can say just let God lead and you follow. He will lead you besides the still waters. This can be very scary for those that need to see before they walk, or should I say before they obey the voice of God. We know God is up to something great even though it might seem like turmoil is all around us, we know that God is going to move in a mighty miraculous way. If He said it He will perform it and bring it to pass.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
It is time to move in the things of God that He has promised, purposed and destined for you and me from the beginning of time. Time to look at those things that have held you back and lose them. Open your mouth and speak, not from your emotions but by the Word of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak for you. Know that you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away and all things are become new. We are moving or have moved from the holding place. You are in a place of the moving. Your feet are not stuck. If they appear to be command them in Jesus Name to move forward.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (KJV)
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
In this season, many will ask what is next; and the answer is what God has in stored. God is in you past, present and future. Don’t forget it. Where He leads we will follow. Just understand your steps have been ordained ALREADY.
Joshua 1 (KJV)
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
We must come to understand people that are a part of our lives are going to die or have went home to be with God. Those who have taught us the things of God, trained us and raised us up to follow God are going to leave, but we must know that what they put in us by the Holy Spirit has prepared us to take the next step. God’s vision must go on. Circumstances that come our way cannot stop or impede the plan of God.
Joshua was commanded to arise (to rise, to stand, to establish, to maintain oneself) and to go over this Jordan. Tell yourself today we are going over this Jordan.
We must understand that Joshua understood what was on the other side of Jordan (Numbers 13-14). Now, it was time for Him to carry out the vision of God.
Also understand that the Jordan that was normally 100 feet wide has now swollen to over 1 mile! It was over 50 times wider than it normally is. It was the time of harvest when the river overflows. Due to the size of the river they could by no means cross the river on their own! They needed supernatural help. You cannot allow what you see when you see it to stop you from moving forward. If God said go over it that what you will do, if you obey.
Joshua 3:15 (KJV)
And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
It is so easy to say it’s yours, but when you see the fight many quit and give up. They feel it is not worth it or they say let someone else do it and we will follow. Therefore, they abandon their role and responsibility. Do not allow fear and intimidation to stop you in your tracks, to keep you from the promise that God has ordained for you and those you are leading. This is the time to be strong and very courageous. Remember you were born for this. You already have your army on and a host of angels surrounding you and protecting you. Michael is with you and has gone before you. Know that The Holy Spirit will never lead you into failure. Trust GOD! God instructs Joshua three times because He knew that Joshua would face seasons even though he was a military leader that would want him to give up. DONT GIVE UP! It is time to take it by storm. What God has spoken to you and those you may be leading will not return unto him void. Not only are you marked but the land and assignment is also marked with God’s name on it, and God has given it to you.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it.
12 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,
13 Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.
14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;
15 Until the Lord have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the Lord your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the Lord's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
16 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.
17 According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the Lord thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.
18 Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.
It is important to follow God’s instructions all the way through. Do not turn or depart from them. Keep them before you and do all that he has called you to do.
God help me to know your will for my life and those you have called me to lead. Help me to lay down my will and do your will. Give me strength and courage to do all those things that you have assigned to my hand. For you have not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. According to your Word when you tell me to arise, I will arise and see me the way you see me. For I have the mind of Christ and I am seated in Christ Jesus far above the powers of the enemy and my emotions. Father, I thank you for I am strong in you and I can do all things through Jesus Christ that strengthens me.
